Outline of Research
Our current research projects are as follows:

1. Regulation of galectin function by S-nitrosylation.
2. Possible roles of galectin-2 in the gastric mucosa.
3. Metabolism, bioactions and possible physiological roles of 2-arachidonoylglycerol, an endogenous cannabinoid receptor ligand, in various mammalian tissues and cells.
