	Outline of Research
It is necessary to maintain the drug levels in the blood in order to increase the effectiveness and the safety. Enzymatic degradation of the drugs is involved in the maintenance of proper drug concentration of in the blood. However, the exact metabolism is unknown in the many drugs. Therefore, we try to elucidate the molecular mechanisms related to the disappearance of the drug in order to obtain information useful for design of new pharmaceutical products without side effects and realize personalized medicine. We hope that graduates from our laboratory contribute to the healthcare in the future.
